The project team carried out a set of activities to stimulate and promote renewable energy sources among community residents and municipal institutions.
- Installed a 20kW on-grid solar power plant (SPP) on the roof of the Radomyshl Hospital building. The SPP covers about 22% of the medical institution’s electricity needs;
- held Sustainable Energy Days in the community, which united efforts to make the community more energy efficient, increase the culture of energy saving, and emphasise the importance of transition to clean energy;
- developed and approved the Municipal Energy Plan until 2030 at the city council session;
- informed the community: published a number of articles on the importance of developing renewable energy sources.
