The project team created the preconditions for using renewable energy sources in the multi-storey sector in the cities of Volodymyr and Lutsk.
During the project:
- Conducted two trainings in Lutsk and Volodymyr for 35 heads and managers of condominiums;
- Conducted 88 consultations for HOAs on energy efficiency (30 consultations were planned);
- completed energy audits of 10 multi-storey residential buildings in Lutsk;
- developed two comprehensive feasibility studies for condominiums on the use of renewable energy sources;
- developed an action plan for the use of renewable energy for 37 condominiums (planned for ten);
- developed a detailed design and design estimates for the installation of heat pumps for two condominiums;
- held a roundtable discussion with 18 representatives of local governments and condominiums from Lutsk and Volodymyr to establish cooperation and share experiences;
- Developed proposals for strengthening local support programmes for HOAs, which will increase their capacity to implement sustainable energy initiatives;
- held the final event in Lutsk;
- created 11 information materials and distributed them to local and national media and NGOs.
