Subgrantee contribution: 503 EUR
The project team developed a Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plan for the community. They also:
- held ‘Sustainable Energy Days’, which were attended by 4000 residents of the community. Organised a conference, competitions, thematic classes, excursions, and the Sumy Energy Fest;
- organised classes for children on energy efficiency and renewable energy sources, and opened the Solar Energy eco-trail;
- installed a 7 kW solar power plant to heat the greenhouse of the Yunnativsky Botanical Garden, where Red Book plants are grown.
