Prior to the full-scale invasion, Tetiiana developed the energy independence of the Dobropillya community, in particular, participated in the development and monitoring of the community’s sustainable energy and climate action plan (SECAP). She has joined projects aimed at improving the energy efficiency of public institutions, including those coordinated by Ecoclub and GIZ.
Today Dobropillya is under fire. Tetiiana was evacuated and is near Dnipro. The work of the chief specialist of the economics department of the city council continues online. At the moment, it is not about energy efficiency, but about ensuring the livelihood of the community.
She admits that she dreams of returning home to her usual activities and energy efficiency projects.
Due to the information support of the Energie- und Umweltzentrum Allgäu gemeinnützige GmbH, Klaus Hoppe Consulting and other colleagues, Ecoclub has the opportunity to support energy managers of Ukrainian communities, who are now in the zone of fierce fighting, in the occupied territories or in the affected areas from missile strikes of the aggressor.
The amount of one-time support to Tetiiana and other selected participants is 100 euros in hryvnia equivalent.
