Ecoclub announced financial help to energy managers, who are now in difficult circumstances because of the full-scale war in Ukraine.
Due to the information support of the Energie- und Umweltzentrum Allgäu gemeinnützige GmbH, Klaus Hoppe Consulting and other colleagues, Ecoclub has the opportunity to support energy managers of Ukrainian communities, who are now in the zone of fierce fighting, in the occupied territories or in the affected areas from missile strikes of the aggressor.
Denis Vorona, an energy manager from Nizhyn, is one of those who now need such support.
Among the successful projects in Denis’s work are cooperation with GIZ in the development of community energy efficiency and the first implemented ESCO contracts in the Chernihiv region. It is a tool for financing energy efficiency measures, thanks to which the institution/company begins to save resources and, consequently, money, part of which is received by the energy service company (ESCO) as payment for its services and return on investment.
Today, Denis continues to work as an energy manager in the Nizhyn community.
