Support for energy managers while the war: Tetiiana Usyk

“Good is not science, it is action” R. Rolland

Ecoclub continues to help energy managers of Ukrainian communities affected by the war. Thanks to caring Ukrainians and people abroad, we have been able to support 27 energy managers from different parts of the country!

Another recipient of support from the Ecoclub and partners is Tetiiana Usyk. Until recently – Head of the Department of Municipal Initiatives, Investments and Energy Management of Myrhorod City Council.

Tetiiana passed on the help she received from Ecoclub and donors in the amount of 100 euros to her colleague Anna, who needs treatment (pictured right).

Currently, Tetiiana is not working, but she mentions working with warmth: “Our department works with international and state funds in various fields, implements participatory initiatives. The closest topic to my heart is the development of cycling in the community. There are some achievements in this area that we are happy to share with other communities. Among the latest successes is the victory in the regional competition “Best Manager”, which lasted 10 days and ended on February 24. It was already thundering in the community, and Myrhorod was collecting votes so that even small news would be pleasant for the townspeople after the Victory. During the war, the department worked to attract humanitarian and financial assistance from various sources, created a call center to accommodate internally displaced persons.”

We thank to Tetiiana for her contribution to the approach of victory, the development of the country’s energy independence and the search for opportunities to support those around and in need! You can contribute to the recovery of her colleague – Anna Torubari – on the card: 4731219619892130

Ecoclub is pleased that with the informational support of the Energie- und Umweltzentrum Allgäu gemeinnützige GmbH, Klaus Hoppe Consulting and other colleagues, it is able to support Tetiiana and other energy managers of Ukrainian communities in the fierce battlefield or from cities that affected by the aggressor’s missile and bomb strikes.
