Already in the first days of the full-scale russian invasion, energy auditor Tetiiana Kuchmii, who until recently lived in Konotop, found herself in the occupation with a two-year-old child. For security reasons, she managed to leave the city first to a nearby village and later to Poland.
Prior to her maternity leave, Tatiana participated in NEFCO projects to improve the energy efficiency of educational and healthcare institutions as a technical consultant for FIATU.
“After the victory, I dream of returning to my homeland and embracing the dearest people, so as not to part with them in such circumstances. I want to work and develop in my profession, to build our state together with Ukrainians,” Tetiiana shared.
Ecoclub is pleased that with the informational support of the Energie- und Umweltzentrum Allgäu gemeinnützige GmbH, Klaus Hoppe Consulting and other colleagues, it is able to support Tetiiana and other energy managers of Ukrainian communities in the fierce battlefield or from cities that affected by the aggressor’s missile and bomb strikes.
So far, we have helped 22 energy managers with donations in the amount of 100 euros and we have about 20 more applications.
